The Good Shepherd Homestead & Sanctuary (GSHS) is not a program. It is a covenant — a living, anti-fragile ecosystem where veterans and their families find purpose, healing, and dignity through regenerative agriculture, artisan mastery, trauma-informed care, and sustainable community.
We address three simultaneous crises: the epidemic of veteran suicide and isolation, the collapse of America's topsoil and biodiversity, and the erosion of rural economic life. These are not separate problems. They are symptoms of the same fractured system — and they require a unified response.

Veterans earn dignified wages above $14.50/hr — double the federal minimum — because financial stability is neurological stability. The 10-10-80 family stewardship model ensures 80% stays with local families.
